Arkansas Community Bankers Association, Bankers Assurance, LLC Schedule BSA/AML Conference

The legalization in Arkansas of marijuana for medical use, the impact of new technology on the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and fraud and scams currently being perpetrated in the state are among the topics on the agenda of an annual BSA/AML (Anti-Money Laundering) conference on March 7.
The conference, sponsored by the Arkansas Community Bankers Association and Bankers Assurance, LLC, will be held at the Embassy Suites, 11301 Financial Centre Parkway, Little Rock. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and the conference will conclude at 4:30 p.m.
Speakers at the conference will include representatives of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN); the Little Rock District Office of the Drug Enforcement Administration; the Little Rock law firm, Wright Lindsey Jennings; the FBI; the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis; and the Arkansas Attorney General's Office.
